SODIUM SULFATE ANHYDROUS (SSA) 99%

SSA (Also known as Sodium Sulfate) is the inorganic compound with formula Na2SO4. All forms are white solids that are highly soluble in water. About one third of the world’s SSA is produced as by-product of other processes in chemical industry. SSA is mandatory in the manufacture of textiles industry, where it is the largest application. It is applied to increase the ionic strength of the solution and so helps in “levelling” reducing negative electrical charges on textile fibers so that dyes can penetrate evenly. The glass industry provides another significant use for sodium sulphate, as second largest application.

Application: Mainly use in printing and dyeing industry, glass manufacturing industry, paper making, tanning, metal smelting, surface treatment and filler industries etc.

Storage: Store in a cool and ventilated dry place, also keep away from light and water, not allowed to mix with the acid-base storage
